Have you ever felt like a snow globe?
You’ve been suddenly shaken and find
Yourself flying in different directions
And can’t tell ahead from behind?
The not knowing what is coming next
You may feel just a bit insecure…
But, if you are trusting in Jesus,
His Presence will always assure
That He, He alone, has the answers
Although He won’t always explain…
Explaining is not in His repertoire…
But doesn’t this fact still remain
That the sun will arise every morning?
Even if clouds block it’s view?
And this virus can’t stop us from seeing
What Almighty God can still do!
While it’s true some people are dying
And others are critically ill…
This doesn’t mean God has stopped caring
Because He cares and He always will.
It would be great if He left a memo…
Or a few bullet points would be nice…
But we have His Word to rely on
And we can stand on His Holy advice.
It reminds us Whom we have believed in
And our confidence should stand in Him…
For no matter what happens tomorrow
Our spiritual sight can’t grow dim.
Let’s remember the secret that Job found…
That confidence was not just a place…
Not a role, rule, or even a status…
But a Person full of Truth and of Grace.
So if our axis of life does seem tilted
And we’re wondering what the future will be…
The Person who brings in the future
Will be there for you and for me.
