At this moment in time everyone`s life is on hold
That is ok for the young but not so much for the old,
Thru` all this, time just doesn`t stand still it moves on
Marching towards the time when the old will be gone.
Their last hopes and dreams in this life may be snatched away
For a cure for this virus may come too late in the day,
The young have a future to build so with this they can cope
Whereas for the old with time running out they may lose hope.
Remaining positive sometimes isn`t easy we all know
But our resilience is strong and it will always show,
Aiming for our goal through all this is what we`ll do
And when it`s over the sky will once again be blue.
So I say to you although life is `On Hold` you just Hold On
For there will come a day when this virus will be gone,
Hopefully it will disappear just as quickly as it came
Although I don`t think life will ever be quite the same.
