If you see the oppression,
Of the righteous and the poor;
Injustice violation,
Knowing the Lord would abhor.
Marvel not at this matter,
Officials that are higher;
Not concern with this chatter,
For being a denier.
But this is gain for a land,
Kings committed served in fields;
What the harvest to demand,
Cultivated what it yields.
Whoever loves of money,
Will never be satisfied;
Bathing in milk and honey,
Never being gratified.
This is also vanity,
He would be loving such wealth;
More like an insanity,
Without his spiritual health.
When commodities increase,
They increase who eat them;
Their appetite will not cease,
But gluttony will condemn.
Sweet is the sleep of labor,
Whether how much they may eat;
Not worried if their neighbor,
Has shoes to fit on their feet.
There is a grievous evil,
I have seen under the sun;
As results of the devil,
Of the wickedness as done.
Those riches that had been lost,
Coming from a bad venture;
That was an enormous cost,
And changing of their stature.
As he has come from the womb,
He comes naked in this world;
And takes nothing to his tomb,
In the fire being hurled.
