Hope And Faith
A wide stretch of Faith
Mixed with a scattering of Hope
Will produce prayer so much stronger
Than a pure Plasma rope!
If this rope can drag ships
What can one prayer get done?
We can expect miracles
When we petition The Son.
Prayer asked for in His Name
Is sure to bring us results.
He forgives us our sins
And He erases our faults.
Who is Jesus but God?
For only God forgives sins!
If you believe as I do…
Let me hear your Amens!
The storm that’s now raging
Wants to drown us with fear…
But the other side beacons
And that side’s crystal clear!
If we are washed in the Word
Of Spiritual knowing…
Then Wisdom will teach us
And Faith will be flowing!
Just the Faith of a friend
Who’s believing with you
Helps you rest in the promise
That the Lord will come through.
Just as Angels will take us…
Because we are the Lord’s Bride…
Faith, too, will escort us
To that Hoped for other side.
