MY SERVANT IS DEAD

I knew you would wake me up by
Exactly 6am
Shuffling feet in anger
And shaving beard
After a night of noise
And floating in the air
I looked again
It was my servant
I looked again to be sure
And there was he snarling like a dog
Like King Solomon said
"If you listen too hard
You could hear your servant cursing you"
So, you cursed
But I did not listen
You threw tantrums but I did not mind
Only to find
In the afternoon
My servant was dead.
