Where were you when God made the earth?
Tell me if you do understand;
Where were you when Eve giving birth?
Tell me if you know His command.
Who had laid the measures thereof?
Certainly, you have been aware;
Fixing the dimensions of love,
And that you are able to share.
What supports of its foundation?
Who had arranged its cornerstone?
Who gave the people salvation?
Doing what God does not condone.
When morning stars sang together,
The sons of God shouted for joy;
In the temple did they gather,
To the music that they deploy.
Who enclosed the sea behind doors,
When it had burst out from the womb;
Creating land upon its shores,
That had been flooding out the tomb.
When He had made above the clouds,
Garment blankets of thick darkness;
Spreading shadows over the crowds,
Strikes the people with such starkness.
God determined prescribed limits,
Putting its bars and doors in place;
With a decree to inhibit,
For righteously bring us grace.
God declares you may come this far,
But no farther that you may go;
Your proud waves has caused you a scar,
Following not where streams would flow.
