 The Music Of Life
Imagery gives poetry
A pretty picture to paint
Yet once set to music
The world can easily taint
This picture with prejudice,
Sin or with strife
Not what our God intended
For the music of life.
We’ve all heard the lyrics
To our favorite song…
But did we hear the music
As life pushed us along?
Every Psalm in the Bible
Can be musically heard…
Every note…each arrangement…
Based on God’s Holy Word.
The moon has a melody
And so has the sun…
Every star …every galaxy
Was created to hum.
The universe, as a whole,
Is a long symphony…
A huge musical score
He conducts flawlessly.
When we worship and praise
As God loves us to do...
He does hear the music
Made by me and by you.
