The World In Which We Now Live
The World In Which
We Now Live
Oh I remember a time
Not so long ago
When people were not afraid
Of where to go
It started before
This Pandemic ever hit
That forced us to stay put
And has stolen the whit
Oh and its not just me
I see it most places I go
There are many places
People are afraid to show
Instead of proud Americans
Never afraid to speak
We now have birds
Afraid to open their beaks
I know Im outspoken
But its not just me
So many lookie loo's
Just drop by to see
Never a word uttered
Sometimes a like or two
It's like opinions are gone
And humor will never do
Oh the PM's are excessive
With ify private things people do
Oh the politically correct
Have created so many lookie Loo's
I am who I am
This me will have no end
Until the Good Lord takes me
Or you remove me as friend
I have a voice
And opinions I will give
I find it so very sad
This is the world in which we live

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
