Lockdown Blues 2

(First cut now done, vocals, guitars, Cajon, Mouth Harp - very bluesical

Exercise just one hour a day
See so few people on the way
Silent streets. Empty roads
Watching boxed set episodes

Life is quieter than it's ever been
world just seen through  Tv screen
Not much to do no place to go
Sitting watching my grass to grow

Pre Corona days weren't so bad
Missing those freedoms that we had
These quiet days just seem so long
No traffic noise, lots of birdsong

Lockdown enters another week
Future prospects looking bleak
Only thing stopping me feeling blue
Is thinking the of things we're going to do

At least up to now I'm stil alive
Sad for those that won't  survive
Life'll be  different than it's ever been
When we leave this lockdown scene

Kiss my grand kids kiss the wife
Really appreciate return to full life
So glad to free from staying at home
Got the world back to wander and roam
