The Heart Of Job Speaks

When are you going to answer my prayer?
I ask but it as if you're not there
It as if you're letting me drown
I don't know how many more times I can go down
Are you real? Do you really care?
Or are I'm putting my trust in the empty air?
My soul's wrapped in chains of despair
My heart's in need of repair
It's a cruel game of dare
I don't know how much more I can bare
When are you going to answer me?
It's night all the time now so I can't see.
If you see the truth in my tears and not lies
Will you bend your ears to my painful cries
It's time it's time
If you don't answer I'm going to fate away.
You was mines You was mines
But then you just, just went away.
I put my request in the air
By what means or method
Or will it even make it up there?
The lions are weeping for me
Now that's really rare
But my only concern now is
When are you going to answer my prayer?
I talk to you
But it as if you're not even there.
It as if you're letting me drown
I don't know how many more times I can go down
Are you real? Do you really care?
Or are I'm putting my trust in the empty air?
When are you going to answer my plead?
I'm just a toddler
Please come see about my needs
I almost out of breath I'm in a tight squeeze
It's a cold world out here
I'm about to freeze
When are you going to answer me?
I seek your face early
But seems like you flee
If God is love... how could this be
He controls everything above
Even the angry sea
When are you going to answer me
Are you going to let me die in shame
Or give me total victory?
Where's your hand? come save me
I thought he was going to deliver me through the praise
He turned around and showed me his desert ways
I pleaded with him to take up my case
He said my strength was being perfected through his grace.
