Since we have been justified,
We have peace through our Lord;
To God through the crucified,
We can live in one accord.
Through Jesus we have obtained,
Access by faith into grace;
If we stand and have retained,
Hope in glory to embrace.
We rejoice in suffering,
Knowing suffering endures;
Christ is there for buffering,
Who recovers with His cures.
It produces character,
Character produces hope;
If God is the conductor,
Guiding you while you cope.
Hope does not put us to shame,
For the love of God pours out;
As our hearts will proclaim,
Freeing us from any doubt.
For while we were still weak,
At the right time that Christ died;
For the ungodly to seek,
Honor through the crucified.
For one who would scarcely die,
For any righteous person;
A good person could deny,
A Father giving His Son.
But God shows His love for us,
By allowing His Son die;
Since we were sinners as thus,
We need not to wonder why.
His blood made us justified,
And much more shall we be saved;
Through Him we are glorified,
No longer to sin enslaved.
For if while we were foes,
That we were reconciled;
By Christ as His blood flows,
Saved for being His child.
We rejoice through our Lord,
Who we receive atonement;
If we are in one accord,
And be as a proponent.
