Soul and Spirit
Sitting here reflecting
When I was alone
That time has gone by
Realizing God/the Lord
Have always been
Its easy to forget
Worrying about the frivolous
Some might say meaningless
A lesson taught
Or maybe to learn
Listen carefully
Signs from the Lord
Jesus died for my mortal sins
Proclaimed upon his last dying breath
As I've prayed for my pettiness
Asking forgiveness
The human mistakes
I've made
I've always had life and love
I had it made
My Soul and Spirit filled with the Lord's praises
Once again I've been blessed
God sent me
A Spiritual Man
Who's love for him is profound
