The Backyard Of My Life

From Out Of Nowhere

Meet me on a day that never Ends
Where a waterfall of clouds roll over a hill
The ghost of time is silent standing perfectly still
The further you fall the higher you fly
when emotion grabs hold of your eyes
You can see yourself the truth inside

So go get up off your knees
Said the man on fire who knew too much
To a girl frozen in ice who can not touch
The burning blue flames rising in the moonlight
Perceptions he prays he hopes she'll find
The key to escape the prison for her mind

All your dreams you keep in your back pocket
We can have it all if we want it
We can have it all if we want it

Sometimes the night seems to never end
From out of nowhere morning comes around
The sun shining like electricity
Why do we complicate simplicity?
The more you let go the more it returns
Poets Prophets and painters scream to a sign
Waiting for a moment in the beauty

Never going back again
Said the boy drinking from a fountain
To the sisters of mercy trying to climb a mountain
Moving so slowly in an ever present past
Reality bending you must have been blind
Unlock the door to the prison of your mind

All your dreams you keep in your back pocket
We can have it all if we want it
We can have it all if we want it
From out of nowhere when emotion grabs your eyes
You can see yourself the truth inside
Everybody's looking for something
