We Are Saved By Grace
We Are Saved By Grace

We are saved by grace
But it doesn't mean
That now
We can steal, murder,
Dishonor our father and mother
It doesn't mean now
That we can have idols
And have other gods.
It doesn't mean now
That we should covet our neighbors things
And steal from them.
We are saved by grace
We are not saved by works
But if it makes sense to follow and abide
By the principles of the commandments
To be a person with godly principles and morals
A law abiding citizen here on earth.
To be under grace and not under law
Is to be a new creation in Jesus Christ
And to still live by the principles of the word of God
By the principles of the ten commandments
Summarized in two commandments
By our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To love God with all your heart, soul and mind
And to love our neighbor (the one in need) as ourselves.
Yes, it doesn't mean
That now you can live and break the commandments of God
Cause if that was so
Than you would be on the run from the law.
For murder, for stealing,
For taking others things.
You would not be called a christian
But a thief, robber, and a murderer.
So to be a new creation
Is not to be a thief, robber, murderer
But a person who abides by
The principles of the word of God.
By the commandments of God.
And if we fail to abide
Then the grace of God
Picks us up.
As we ask for forgiveness
Jesus Christ is faithful and just to forgive us
And cleanse us
From all unrighteousness.
So than we should always try to
Understand that even though
We are saved by grace
We still need to live by the principles
By the commandments
Of the word of God.
Cause if we didn't live
By the principles,
By the commandments of God.
Than we would be suffering
For our misdeeds
Even now on earth in our societies
For grace is there to give us another chance
To pick us up
And that we would be forgiven
And cleansed by the blood of the Lamb of God.
To get up again and try not to do it again.
Sometimes it's a struggle
A struggle is different from deliberetaly doing wrong.
So to not sin against the word of God
Is to obey the word of God
To do everything it instructs you to do.
That includes doing good to others
Out of love.
For Scripture says we are made for good works
And may your good works never cease.
It means that we are not saved by good works
But will earn a reward in heaven
And that God expects us to do good
And represent heaven here on earth
As being ambassadors of heaven...
Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
