Sing unto the Lord a new song,
Sing unto the Lord all the earth;
Blessing of His name all day long,
Blessing Him of His priceless worth.
Sing to the Lord and bless His name,
Tell of His salvation each day;
Repeating His Word to proclaim,
For each of us trust and obey.
Declare His glory to heathen,
His wonders among His people;
The marvelous works in Heaven,
And believing in the Gospel.
The Lord is great and to be praised,
And be feared above other gods;
His magnificent works amazed,
Proving all others are just frauds.
For all those gods are worthless idols,
But the Lord made a splendid Heaven;
Stars twinkling like burning candles,
For the guidance He has given.
Majestic splendor before Him,
Beauty is His sanctuary;
Honoring with spiritual vim,
Blessed as His emissary.
Ascribe to the Lord of His strength,
Glory of the Lord to kindred;
As to persevere any length,
No matter where they have to tread.
Give to the glory of His name,
Bring an offering to His court;
Praising Him while you proclaim,
With brothers and sisters exhort.
Let both Heaven and earth be glad,
As the sea waves roar to rejoice;
And the winds and trees are not sad,
Each creature has a joyful voice.
