It is so easy to shoot the messenger,
when the messages are so full of pain.
It has been done since the time began
and will keep happening until the end.
The pain itself is a messenger inside us.
It brings warnings about things going
wrong inside all the parts of our body.
It's a friend not a foe we love to hate.
I hate the pain in body and I try killing
the pain by the strongest pain killers
but I never forget that it is my friend,
saving me from great possible harm.
This is why I love and hate my pains
and always listen to it very carefully
before killing it with regret that I am
killing the messenger of the bad news.
