 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Blessed is the man who walks not,
To counsel the ungodly;
Nor stands where sinning is sought,
Nor sitting acting worldly.

He sits not with the scoffers,
Nor stands next to the sinners;
On a Sunday with the golfers,
But in church as the winners.

Rather delight in the Law,
Meditating day and night;
Will assist you from a fall,
While doing what is right.

And you shall be like a tree,
As planted next to a stream;
Yielding fruit delightfully,
Green leaves that reign supreme.

The ungodly are not so,
Like the chaff driven way;
Into darkness they will go,
Immorality astray.

The ungodly shall not stand,
In the judgment nor sinners;
Where God has the righteous land,
And has prepared their dinners.

For the Lord has known the way,
Where the righteous will cherish;
As the wicked go astray,
The ungodly shall perish.
