Today is over and done with
And I`m missing you again,
Every time that we have to part
I`m always left with this pain.

Loving you is the easy part
It`s missing you that hurts,
It leaves me feeling so empty
And it renders me inert.
The `missing` never goes away
It`s something I carry inside,
It only goes when I`m with you
Then my happiness I can`t hide.

You only `miss` if your love is true
That is what I firmly believe,
As the pain only begins to start
When you say you have to leave.
