They despise the pleasant land,
With no faith in His promise;
Believes not His Word to stand,
About His Law and justice.
They murmured within their tents,
And not obeying His voice;
Their defiance cause torments,
With no reason to rejoice.
Therefore, He raised up His hand,
Swore that He would make them fall;
Disobeying His command,
Allowing sin to enthrall.
It is making their offspring,
To fall amongst the nations;
And scattering them to bring,
Destroying their foundations.
They joined and yoked of themselves,
Ate what offered for the dead;
Nourishing on what delves,
On what their idols were fed.
They provoked God to anger,
While performing their deeds;
Most of them will still languor,
Chaos and violence feeds.
A plague broke out amongst them,
Pandemic around the earth;
Their inventions to condemn,
Causing a drop of their worth.
The Lord executed judgment,
While the plague intervened;
That was causing such ailment,
As people were quarantined.
As counted as righteousness,
Generation to generation;
Forever more blessedness,
Guaranteed a salvation.
They angered at the waters,
It went ill on their account;
For their sons and daughters,
Of chaos that seems to mount.
They made His spirit bitter,
He spoke rashly with His lips;
The Lord is not a quitter,
Armageddon in His grips.
