Hear my cry, O God,
Listen to my prayer;
Because I am flawed,
And needing your care.
The ends of the earth,
I call upon you;
Fainted heart is dearth,
Lacking what is true.
Lead me to the rock,
As higher than I;
So that I can talk,
As you hear my cry.
You are my refuge,
Sheltered from my foe;
Strong tower so huge,
Shielding from my woe.
Let me dwell within,
Your tent forever;
And to discipline,
Disobey never.
For I put my trust,
Sheltered by your wings;
You are fair and just,
What your mercy brings.
You have heard my vows,
And you gave to me;
Of what it allows,
An insight to see.
Those who fear Your name,
An inheritance;
In which I proclaim,
For your acceptance.
Prolong the king’s life,
May his years endure;
Corruption and strife,
From the deep state core.
Enthrone forever,
Appoint steadfast love;
All to endeavor,
Secured from above.
