SINCE I WAS BORN By Terrence michael Sutton, www.PoetryPoem.com/aussiepoet Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
From birth taught values integrity
Respect honesty treat all as one
We all know right from wrong
To be a good soul over and done
I've risked my life saving a child
And other's several times true
Colour never entered my mind
In my life all the way through
For all I knew was common sense
Always was with me all my years
A good souls just that a good soul
Regardless of colour drank beers
Negative emotions are insulting
And should never if possible be
We are all born and we all die
Until life it's self sets us free
If we know left hand from right
We all know right from wrong
Live and just let live oneness
One day at a time is the song
In life all lives matter to myself
If you are a good soul that's good
But If you choose to be of a crime
Your choice you wear that hood
So tied of all this racism stupidity
All lives they matter come what may
We all are born human all created
From birth till we die end of the day
