Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Lockdown
(It’s just fine)

During lockdown
So much anguish
Not knowing what the coming days might say?
Walls are closing
Anxiety beckons
I miss the life that should be our next day.

Children crying
Abusers to close
Nowhere to escape their fear and hide
Curtains closing
No one knowing
If this will be their final mortal cry?

So uncertain
Our final curtain?
Maybe this will kill us all in future times?
Our Planets crying
Her children dying
While the power in the world says “it’s just fine”?
