Hold On
Hold On
Everybody at one time
Has that pain impossible to bare
Finding ourselves alone
Into the cold dark we stare
No warmth of the sun
Just the dark bitter cold
It comes more and more
As we continue to grow old
No words to describe
Tears that have been shed
Nothing to measure the pain
One's heart has bled
When the knot of life's rope
Is bloody and frayed
And it's felt all life's cards
Have already been played
Hold On
All is not lost
In this world so hard
Just trust the warm glimmer
That strengthens our guard
Know that with you
He daily does walk
Always there to listen
When you need to talk
We can trust in His Love
He will never let us down
Just place it at his feet
That burdensome frown
When only in Him trusted
Our faith will lead us on
Through the dark cold night
To the warmth of His dawn
Just Hold On

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
