Can One Feel Blessed

Can one feel blessed
If one is secretly persecuted
When the first church was persecuted
For their faith in the living God
Their blessing was
They believed, were baptized
And we're going to be with the Lord.
Some lost everything
But because they lost everything
For Jesus Christ's sake
They regained everything and more
In the kingdom of heaven
Some might say
Well why doesn't God bless you
In this life and you be financially secured
Well if you are secretly persecuted
That becomes difficult sometimes
To be blessed
To be financially secure
Some are blessed
And if they are not persecuted
They maintain their status
And a relationship with God.
Others are persecuted
And lose pretty much everything
But one thing they do always have
As an eternal blessing
And that is a solid relationship
With Jesus Christ, though Him Having access
To the Heavenly Father
And the Holy Spirit.
And so far that is my only blessing
In this life.
