Remember that at one time,
You were pagan gentiles;
As you were committing crime,
With immoral lifestyles.
Remember that at that time,
Been separated from Christ;
You were noble and sublime,
But always being enticed.
You did not know the promise,
Without God having no hope;
No sense of any justice,
All of the chaos you cope.
But now within Jesus Christ,
You who were once off afar;
Understand He sacrificed,
For healing you from your scar.
Because He is our peace,
Who made all of us as one;
That hostility would cease,
When committed to the Son.
By abolishing the Law,
Expressed in ordinances;
We must confess our flaw,
To avoid consequences.
For we must reconcile,
To the Father through the cross;
For spiritual lifestyle,
And remembering the loss.
For He came for preaching peace,
To all those who peace was near;
And hostilities to cease,
To worship God and revere.
Through Him we both have access,
To the Father and Spirit;
Trust and obey, He will bless,
Promised what you inherit.
In Him you are not alone,
As part of His dwelling place;
For Christ is the cornerstone,
Where He will be giving grace.
