Give an ear, O Heaven above,
I will speak so let the earth hear;
The words of my mouth as thereof,
Let stick like glue as to adhere.
My doctrine shall drop like the rain,
As my speech distill as the dew;
The tender grass feeling no pain,
As the rain showers continue.
I proclaim the name of the Lord,
Ascribing the greatness of God;
To show He is loved and adored,
Worshipping to honor and laud.
He is the Rock, His work perfect,
Because all His ways are justice;
Who has chosen of His elect,
Without being in worldliness.
A God filled with the faithfulness,
Without any iniquity;
Just and upright with gracefulness,
Existing an eternity.
They have dealt with God corruptly,
And no longer as His offspring;
They have been blemished abruptly,
Feeling the wrath what it will bring.
A perverted generation,
That are crooked and are twisted;
Never to receive salvation,
An immoral life persisted.
Do you as thus repay the Lord,
You foolish and senseless people;
His commandments you have ignored,
Never entering His temple.
Is He not your Father above,
Who made and established you;
Did He not show blessings of love,
And has told you all that is true.
Please remember the days of old,
Consider the generations;
Of how all their lives did unfold,
God gave them their inspirations.
When God gave their inheritance,
He divided setting borders;
Separated by competence,
Complying as the Lord orders.
