So what shall we say?
Continue in sin;
Grace for when we stray,
Though corrupt within.
By no means should you,
How can we who died;
Live in sin not do,
Who was crucified.
Are you not aware,
Baptized into Christ;
In His death you share,
Not to be enticed.
Baptized into death,
Raised up from dead;
And given new breath,
His body be fed.
We are united,
In a death with Him;
New life delighted,
Gives spiritual vim.
Old self crucified,
The body of sin;
Now as sanctified,
Being cleansed within.
For the one who died,
From sin set us free;
So we can abide,
Follow His decree.
If we died with Christ,
With Him we will live;
All that is sufficed,
To honor we give.
For when He was raised,
Will not die again;
We are too appraised,
For filling His den.
So, be dead to sin,
And alive to God;
New life to begin,
And no longer flawed.
