Poetic-Verses

'' We Belong In The Past ''

At times we ask,
Is life worth living,
Completing your task,
Can be so unforgiving.

Doing what's good,
Does it outweigh the bad,
What you'll conclude,
Can and will make you sad.

Genocide rules,
A trait of the human,
They can act like fools.
Be it man or woman.

We've never known peace,
We probably never will,
As each other we fleece,
Then go in for the kill.

Greed and corruption,
Among us is rife,
Causing others disruption,
Is our way of life.

After every disaster,
What do we learn,
Nothing is master,
For solutions we should yearn.

As the human revolution,
Grows ever longer,
In our evolution,
We get weaker not stronger.

Over many years,
Yes, it's a curse,
We've continued the tears,
Things can only get worse.

Please do not scoff,
Our madness can't last,
Soon we'll be off,
