O Lord, the God of glory,
How majestic is Your name;
Who gave me insight to see,
I will continue to proclaim.
You set glory in Heaven,
Left it flowing down to earth;
The blessings it has given,
Showing of Your complete worth.
Out of the mouth of infants,
You established strength of foes;
Judging them in Your presence,
Sending them where fire flows.
When I look at Your Heaven,
The work Your fingers and hands;
The moon and stars have given,
Emits light from Your commands.
What is man You are mindful,
The Son of man that You care;
The things done You are shameful,
That mankind would even dare.
Yet You have made Him lower,
Than the heavenly beings;
Crowned with glory to tower,
Over all the earthly kings.
You have given dominion,
Over the works of Your hands;
A possible reunion,
Given by Your voice commands.
All of the oxen and sheep,
Also the beasts of the field;
That together they will sleep,
And all the people have kneeled.
The birds flying in the sky,
The fish swimming in the sea;
Never will they wonder why,
They continue to be free.
How excellent is Your name,
How majestic is Your earth;
I continue to proclaim,
All about Your priceless worth.
