I appeal beseeching you,
By he name of our Lord;
That you all will remain true,
By keeping in one accord.
No divisions among you,
United in the same mind;
Enabled as to construe,
The same judgment is aligned.
It is reported to me,
Of quarreling amongst you;
In following which decree,
That is holding more value.
Do you follow Jesus Christ,
Or would there be another;
Which one of you are enticed,
Some other Christian brother.
Has Jesus been divided,
Was Paul crucified for you;
The baptized name decided,
Who paid for transgressions due.
I thank God I was baptized,
In the name of our Lord;
Why the devil has despised,
Those who have loved and adored.
So no one shall ever say,
Being baptized in His name;
To love, honor, and obey,
Of His Word that you proclaim.
Baptize the whole household,
I was not sent to baptize;
Rather write what has been told,
The truth not to criticize.
Because I was sent to preach,
Not of eloquent wisdom;
With poetry that can reach,
Guiding you to His Kingdom
