We Bend Our Knee and Cry

We Bend Our Knee and Cry           September 4, 2020

Bend the knee for the Irish people who were murdered by the crown
Bend the knee for the taken heroes they will never keep Ireland down
We lost our greatest leaders twelve men shot and we ask why
Put to death by England, our leaders in the sky
Black men killed for being black, we bend the knee and cry
The world must act to make the killers pay
We stand united, we bend the knee and pray
Bobby was taken in his "H" Block cell
The Gibraltar three and many more brutally killed as well
Brutally killed by foreign forces supporters of the church and steeple
We bend our knee in memory and respect for all our taken people
Freedom for Africa and Ireland, we bend the knee again
We won't forget our heroes and the colour of their skin
We won't forget who killed them and the way they had to die
Black life's matter, God bless the Irish, we want to know and why
Leave our country, go now and give back our thirty-two
No more them and us we're all Irish me and you
Remove the foreign flags and the statues of hate
Ireland is for the Irish a thirty-two united state
Bend the knee for the Irish people who were murdered by the crown
Bend the knee for the taken heroes, they will never keep Ireland down
