Chocolates

Oh they're out in the sunshine
Wandering through the trees
Picking the cocoa
In ones and two and threes:

Oh they take this little bean
And they grind it and mix it
Stir it and turn it
And when its done they fix it.
And they very carefully,
Making sure there's no waste,
Turn it into a creamy brown
Liquid runny little paste.

Then they take all these centres,
Some soft some hard, all sweet
And they pat them and shape them
To make them all look neat

They take the liquid beans
Pass the shapes down a line
And Pour it all over them
And it sets with a nice shine
And they carefully pack them
All neatly in a pretty carton
And another machine
Carefully fixes the top on

So we have a box of chocolates
A selection made to delight
That we can eat watching telly
On a warm and cosy winter night
