From the Heart Through the Pen

I write to just write

Let all these thoughts circulate

So these plain janes

Can’t distinguish fact from fiction

Don’t realize names I won’t ever mention

Thinking these are about them

It’ll always be About You

Cause you’re the only one authentic

No one knows how I’m

Still longing for the Truest Beauty known

Who’ll always remain in my heart’s view

I pray y’all's situation has improved

Cause I can’t stand if my mistakes

Put you in a situation that‘s win lose

Still haven’t found the right prescription

Or even a close enough dose

To put the way you make my heart beat to rest

Simple things; you loved me when

All I could afford was a Cracker Jack ring

My closest to a regret is I didn’t put it on you

Real love is what we had

Something these dames think

Is just an old school Mary J hit

Though it wasn’t perfect

It was the closest
The purest there is

I’ve never loved like I love you

Just wish it was the best I could’ve given

I gave that to her

They threw it to the curb

Spelled loyalty with an "m" "e"

Hearts and souls empty

Based on my past

It’s most likely what I deserve

Xtina Isabella proved to be

An alter ego fatal

The last to stir my passion

Just not purpose

So far

You’re the last to ever show me

A lady who will always be worth it
