God has taken His place,
In the divine council;
For judging in disgrace,
Those that are immoral.
For how long will You judge,
Shows partiality;
Unjustly to begrudge,
Of immorality.
Give justice to the weak,
Aid to the afflicted;
For the destitute seek.
From those as addicted.
Rescue of the needy,
Deliver from the hand;
The wicked as greedy,
Afflicted by demand.
They have not the knowledge,
Nor the understanding;
Resisting this carnage,
That they are demanding.
They walk in the darkness,
Foundations are shaken;
Living in such starkness,
Feels God has forsaken.
You are sons of the High,
Genuine sons of God;
That we must wonder why,
We don’t honor and laud.
Like all men you shall die,
And fall like any prince;
The Lord of the Most High,
We will be His Spirits.
Arise, O God, judge the earth,
Inherit the nations;
Giving us a new birth,
Building new foundations.
