The Ultimate Gate

A separate race of Outer Gods
The Ancient Ones act as the Ultimate Gate
Eternally dreaming atop their pedestals,
Stirring only when disturbed in a way,
Or when visited by a worthy traveler
Who made it through the First Gate.

They dwell in a mighty Temple
Beyond space and time,
Somewhere between the planes.
