How can a young man to keep pure?
Guarding according to His Word;
Taking heed while they endure,
For remaining in one accord.
With my whole heart I seek the Lord,
Not to wander and go astray;
Never shall it to be ignored,
Rather you should trust and obey.
I have stored His Word in my heart,
So that I might not ever sin;
If temptation strikes, I impart,
And be cleansed by the Word within.
Blessed is the Lord and Savior,
For He has taught me His statutes;
He shines upon me with favor,
That my faith is taking deep roots.
Upon my lips I shall declare,
All the judgments flowing from Him;
All the rules enabled to share,
With all of those who have been grim.
The way of His testimonies,
I delight as much in His wealth;
Remembering the patrimonies,
Reserved for my spiritual health.
I meditate on His precepts,
For fixing my eyes on His ways;
As I continue His concepts,
Honoring in worship and praise.
I will delight in His statutes,
Never forgetting of His Word;
That will be bearing many fruits,
From everything I have heard.
