 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Keep my words as you treasure up,
Lay up my commandments with you;
Beware of poison in the cup,
As what iniquities can do.
Keep my commandments as you live,
Taught as the apple of your eye;
Because of the law that I give,
As a prevention not to die.
Adhere them upon your fingers,
Write them on the pad of your heart;
Remember the girl that lingers,
For your money tries to outsmart.
She states that she is your sister,
Insight as your intimate friend;
But having thoughts as sinister,
Sooner or later will offend.
Keep from the forbidden woman,
The adulteress with her smooth words;
The strangers with such affection,
That are stalking like the leopards.
For at the window of my house,
I have looked out through my lattice;
After the husband leaves the spouse,
She dresses so voluptuous.
I have perceived amongst the youth,
A young man void lacking the sense;
Sows his oats disregards the truth,
Allows emotions to be intense.
For on the corner along the street,
He takes the road unto her place;
With a hug and kiss she will greet,
Involves a seductive embrace.
The twilight of the evening,
At the time of night and darkness;
The lust they are envisioning,
Of no concern of their starkness.
