We ourselves are Jews by birth,
And not gentiles by nature;
Even though sinners here on earth,
Justified as a new creature.
For people are not justified,
Comes from their works under the Law;
But through faith for the crucified,
That confession will wipe the flaw.
We also have believed in Christ,
No one is justified by deeds;
While not becoming enticed,
By avoiding the worldly needs.
Justified in an endeavor,
When we were found to be sinners;
By acknowledgement whenever,
A confession makes us winners.
What I tear down if I rebuilt,
I prove to be a transgressor;
I confess to erase my guilt,
With Christ as an intercessor.
Through the Law I died to the Law.
And capable to live to God;
While in my prayer I will call,
Worshipping to honor and laud.
I have been crucified with Christ,
It is no longer I who live;
For Christ within me has enticed,
With salvation He has to give.
The life in which that I now live,
By a faith in the Son of God;
Through confession He will forgive,
And cure the scar where I am flawed.
But I will never nullify,
The mercy and the grace of God;
For righteousness will glorify,
While the angels will applaud.
