No refuge

Stolen.
My hiding place robbed.
The heart I hid my own inside of is gone.
No warning.
No boxes.
Just an empty plot.
May as well be a graveyard.
How do you cope?
Too hurt to hide inside people
No drug is strong enough to replace your touch.
Your love...
My refuge....
It's been attacked
Snatched.
I left it up for grabs
Should have known it wouldn't be here when I got back
I'm starting from scratch
With only a kid on my back
No one else attached
I used to be able to lend myself....
I'm afraid you never gave me my soul back
It's impossible to lend what you do not have.
Silence...
Tears...
Like rain on my grave.
