I wish this coronavirus would cease to exist
For I can`t count the hugs that I have missed,
I`ve missed getting them and giving them too
Without my hugs from the kids I feel so blue.
Be it my kids or my grandkids big and small
I love their kiss and cuddles from one and all,
Those hugs mean more than words can say
And makes me smile throughout the day.
A virtual hug just really isn`t the same
And not to have a hug really is a shame,
That human touch makes things worthwhile
It makes me feel good and brings me a smile.
