Your hands have made and fashioned me,
Give me understanding to learn;
To give me the insight to see,
That will assist as I sojourn.
Those who fear shall see and rejoice,
Because I have hoped in Your Word;
Be able to make the right choice,
By everything they have heard.
I know that your rules are righteous,
In faithfulness has afflicted;
Because my soul You did purchase,
And righteousness has addicted.
Let Your steadfast love comfort me,
Merciful kindness as I pray;
To Your promise that You decree,
Because I will trust and obey.
Let Your mercy come unto me,
That I may live having delight;
Allows myself to shout with glee,
While guiding me towards the light.
Let the insolent be ashamed,
They have perversely done me wrong;
The falsehood that they have proclaimed,
For Your precepts making me strong.
Let those that fear turn unto me,
That they know Your testimonies;
And confessing on bending knee,
To rid them of their agonies.
My heart is sound in Your statutes,
And never to be put to shame;
Delivering of Your ripen fruits,
As my lips and tongue does proclaim.
