When God made a promise,
Since no one was greater;
Able to serve justice,
As of now nor later.
Surely the Lord will bless,
For you to multiply;
And continue success,
Since you do not defy.
You must patiently wait,
To obtain the promise;
The Lord will compensate,
Reward on that premise.
Swear by something greater,
In all of their disputes;
An oath to the Creator,
On all of your pursuits.
So when God desires,
To show more to the heirs;
With an oath requires,
For when another shares.
Two unchangeable things,
Which are impossible;
That encouragement brings,
Hope that is plausible.
We have this as a sure,
Steadfast for our soul;
For a hope that is pure,
With the Lord in control.
For where Jesus has gone,
The forerunner for us;
We will see a new dawn,
As we awake as thus.
