Looking Through My Life's Window My Final Moons Glow
Looking Through My Life's Window
My Final Moons Glow
Looking thru my life's window
My memories lovingly flow
Those who came before me
Too quickly did go
A dad so loving and kind
A mom who did the best she knew how
A brother and sister so dear to my heart
All of whom I terribly miss now
They say it takes a village
To raise just one child
With Grandmothers and Aunts
Oh how my memories run wild
The blessing sent from above
My precious children and theirs
I could not have asked more
From my God sent prayers
The awesome friends
I've made along my way
Many of whom remain
To this very day
My failures I accept
And deal as best I can
A mate for life….
Well it was just not the plan
Some may say life was hard
But mine was easier with so much love
Regardless of who was there
It was sent on the wings of a dove
Life's path so often up hill
But lessons were taught
Battles won and lost
But all were fairly fought
Sometimes I was right
Others I was wrong
But in my final life's chapter
I'm here singing my life's strong
So as I watch rising
My now final moons glow
My memories so precious

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
