Look on my affliction,
Deliver me O Lord;
Your Law an addiction,
Never to be ignored.
Plead my cause to redeem,
Give life to Your promise;
I would never blaspheme,
To Your Word of justice.
Salvation is righteous,
Being far from evil;
Statutes that are precious,
That resists the devil.
For great is Your mercy,
Gives me life to Your rules;
Abiding Your decree,
For resisting the fools.
Many persecutors,
And the adversaries;
Are evil polluters,
Work through emissaries.
They will not testify,
As faithless with disgust;
Your commands they defy,
Because of their distrust.
How I love Your precepts,
Life through Your steadfast love;
Following Your concepts,
As they flow from above.
The true Word from the start,
Of Your righteous judgments;
That You plant in my heart,
Root in Your commandments.
