TBeen 'round the world four times
Seen and done so much all true
But now I'm 78 years of age
And not all that well thin too
The candle of life getting shorter
Not the man I once used to be
I still write once in awhile try too
The world as is and a little poetry
Things that come a poets point of view
Now with all this virus thing in life
Nothing is like it all once used to be
Along with so much extra daily strife
U S A hanging on to little hope to come
The entire worlds in a complete mess
Presidents playing I'm king of castle
But never would dare tell or confess
Religions politics past being as if crazy
Was a time souls had dreams to come true
Many actions crimes of criminal mines
Woman and children dying right through
I have no idea where it's l going heading to
Never thought I'd ever see this day arrive
So many now in total confusion unknowing
A time gone when one could even thrive
Being old now does not help not anymore
Years of learning seems gone down the loo
Nobody knows now the way things are
Whatever is the best thing one can do
