FINALLY WE HOPE
Finally we hope USA can again
Regain some pride at long last
Recreate stuff up's been made
Take it's legs out of the cast
Common sense can thus prevail
As it has before will again soon
More than most will come to know
Times of joy relief a new full moon
But dwell not on past but the future
The book of life has turned the page
Choices all good for America now
New stories free now from it's cage
Many have their faith now restored
Getting back to who they were before
Well thought of the country once again
Opened now a more considerate door
That flag can again fly ever very high
Not my country celebrating I am too
I thought for awhile they'd lost style
A sigh of relief many will enjoy true
The differences will be forever grand
All positive one day at time over time
And USA again being proud of being
With oncoming choices ever fine
