Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Our minds…
The human mind what a complicated device
Able to do so many chores
Yet it cannot decide whats wrong and whats right
And how many should die for their cause?
We can send men to the moon and further beyond
We can now all see the beginning of time…
Yet money in the bank is what drives us all on
And for that, we all tow the line.
What if Lennon was right and peace is the way…?
Then this past forty years have all been in vain
Bloodshed and suffering the whole world over
No one has been free of the pain.
Is it not time to throw down the sword…?
There are enough words to answer each prayer
Our mind is such a wonderful gift
Why must it bring always despair?
