Random Ramblings from a Random Mind
Hmm.
I don't want to feel
I don't care to be
I'm overly wired
And it's starting to kill me
You've never really loved me
I was a settlement at best
I'm so sorry that I suck
And I've failed all your tests
I was once so genuine
But you broke me down
I was once full of laughter
But now I just frown
I tried so hard to be perfect
Even though you say otherwise
I tried so hard to make you forget
That it's me that you despise
I can't fix this at all
I'm just a broken soul
We only have one life
And this one's getting old
You see right through me
Like I'm not even here
And I'm screaming inside
But you just drink your beer
I don't even exist for you
Except for a weight on your shoulder
I'm so sorry your stuck
I should have been bolder
I should not have kept you
I should have set you free
But I was hoping for something
That just won't ever be
Your hate is overwhelming
Your mood swings kill me
But here I still stand
But can I use the word barely?
I'm barely here at all
An annoyance in your life
I'm so sorry that your stuck
With me as your wife
