Come everyone who may thirst,
Come unto the gentile waters;
Those who are last will become first,
Along with your sons and daughters.
Someone without any money,
Come over here and take a seat;
Having some wine, milk, and honey,
No need to buy when free to eat.
Why do you spend hard earned money,
Which is not bread for your labor;
On days that are hot and sunny,
And satisfies not your neighbor.
Listen diligently to me,
Eat what is good and a delight;
Food that is pleasing for to see,
While doing all that is right.
Incline your ear and come to me,
Hearing and that your soul may live;
The Lord will make you ever be,
A steadfast love that will forgive.
Be a witness to the people,
A leader and a commander;
Bringing them into the temple,
No longer that they will pander.
You shall call upon a nation,
A nation that had never known;
The glory of His salvation,
From the Holy One on His thrown.
Seek the Lord that He may be found,
Call upon Him as He is near;
Listen carefully for His sound,
Then honoring Him revere.
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thought;
Return to the Lord and obey,
Repent for the pardon as sought.
For His thoughts are never your thought,
Neither are His ways same as yours;
But the compassion that has bought,
What the salvation that ensures.
