Everyone hates an addict
but it is the addiction
that needs to be blamed
for illogical acts by the addict.
I am addicted to you and
my addiction is no less than
an addiction of a junky,
addicted to hard drugs.
I can't think straight.
I have a one-track mind.
My soul has lost its
spirituality and is sold
to the addiction of mine.
You are my addiction
and I know it's not your fault
and still my illogical mind
holds you responsible
for the intense agony my heart
has to go through,
when we are far apart.
It is a wishful thinking
of an addict for the addiction
to be both ways and not
only a one-way addiction.
I have full faith in your love
and to wish for you to be
addicted to me is a result of
my being addicted to you.
I know it is wrong to think
my one-way addiction is unjust
but it's futile to wish for
you to be addicted to the one
who is addicted to you.
